1. Background & Challenge

A one-on-one basketball competition commissioned as social media assets. The challenge was unpredictable: no guarantee of highlight shots, yet the edit needed to feel professional and high-energy. Footage was filmed with the client's camera in Rec.709 rather than log, limiting grading flexibility. The court lacked proper lighting, requiring extensive post-production correction.

2. Creative Idea & Strategy

The direction focused on turning raw gameplay into a cinematic narrative. By emphasizing rhythm, energy, and atmosphere, the edit elevated ordinary moments into epic highlights. Signature sound design and stylized editing amplified intensity, ensuring the video worked both as match coverage and promotional content.

3. Execution

Re-color grading restored depth and contrast, simulating a cinematic aesthetic despite technical limits. Sound design synced with key movements to enhance drama. Post-production lighting adjustments compensated for the imperfect court, delivering a cohesive, professional edit.

4. Impact

The campaign provided versatile social media assets that reinforced the client's brand presence. It showed how creative editing and sound design can transform unpredictable raw footage into compelling storytelling.
